The Great Easter Egg Hunt Event
This Easter, CatCraft is bringing a little chocolate magic to every realm with The Great Easter Egg Hunt Event.
Inspired by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, this special limited-time event gives players the chance to open Chocolate Eggs in the hope of uncovering one of the rarest prizes of the season, a Golden Egg. Almost every egg will simply be consumed, but hidden among them are just 5 Golden Eggs per realm. That means only a tiny handful of players across each realm will be lucky enough to discover one.
Finding a Golden Egg is an extraordinarily rare moment, reserved for only a handful of players in each realm. Those who uncover one will earn the right to claim a special custom reward, created to feel personal, memorable, and truly one of a kind.
At the same time, this event helps the realm in a meaningful way. By encouraging players to spend diamonds in pursuit of these extraordinarily elusive eggs, The Great Easter Egg Hunt acts as a diamond sink, helping reduce inflation and support a healthier long-term economy for everyone. So whether you strike gold or not, taking part still helps make CatCraft better for the whole community.
Golden Egg Reward Conditions
Golden Egg winners may choose either:
- A fully custom item.
- A fully custom texture applied to an existing item they already own.
The following item types are allowed:
- Netherite Sword
- Netherite Pickaxe
- Netherite Axe
- Netherite Shovel
- Netherite Hoe
- Netherite Spear
- Mace
- Hat or Plushie
Enchantments
Enchantments are fixed according to the appropriate item type and may only include the following:
- Sharpness VII for swords and axes (Can be swapped for Smite VII or Bane of Arthropods VII)
- Sweeping Edge IV for swords
- Silk Touch for applicable tool types
- Efficiency VII for applicable tool types
- Lunge IV for spears
- Unbreaking V
- Mending I
- Wind Burst IV for maces
- Density VII for maces
- Breach IV for maces
Hats and plushies do not receive enchantments. Any other enchantments not mentioned above are not permitted.
Permitted Particles
If the item includes a particle on hit, it must be chosen from the following approved list:
- Flame Particles
- Volcano Particles
- Green Villager Particles
- Glow Squid Ink Particles
- Heart Particles
- Slime Particles
- Soul Fire Flame Particles
- Totem of Undying Particles
- Llama Spit Particles
- Sculk Soul Particles
- Panda Sneeze Particles
- Wax on Particles
- Wax off Particles
- Witch Particles
Additional Conditions
- Items may also include a custom glow color when dropped.
- Item names may use a bold colored gradient format.
- Item names must not be excessively long and within the width of item lore.
- All item names and designs must remain appropriate.
- Changes are not permitted once the item has been made.
- Anything not listed above is not permitted.
- All requests are subject to approval by DarkChroma to ensure they are a good fit for CatCraft.
