# CatCraft

> CatCraft is a Minecraft Java and Bedrock Edition survival server, founded on 1 April 2020. It keeps vanilla survival and adds quality-of-life features (land claims, vein mining, tree chopping, a player market and seasonal events). Each Realm's main Overworld never resets, so claimed builds last for years.

Server address: play.catcraft.net (Java), play.catcraft.net port 19132 (Bedrock). Consoles join through the BedrockOnline app (see the join page).

Key facts:
- Three survival Realms (Red, Green, Blue), each with its own main Overworld, Resource world, Nether and End.
- The main Overworld is never reset. The Resource world resets every two months, the Nether every three months and the End every month.
- On the Red and Green Realms, unclaimed land that nobody has been near for 30 days is restored to fresh terrain. Claims are never touched.
- Land claims (GriefPrevention-style golden shovel). Every player starts with 1,000 claim blocks and earns 200 per hour of active play.
- Player-run diamond economy: players rent Market stalls and run chest shops; the /news Newspaper advertises listings.
- Java and Bedrock players share the same worlds, and a Java and a Bedrock account can be linked to share progress.
- Griefing, stealing and scamming are against the rules. PvP is off by default.
